Getting Started
SaaSThe CubixOne SaaS App lives at /app/ — a mobile-first surface for field technicians and office staff who create SCIE reports, manage installations, and schedule visits without the full ERP dashboard.
What you can do in the SaaS App
App Launcher
After login, navigate to /app/ to see the app grid. Each tile opens a module you have permission to access.
Available apps
| Tile | Route | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Reports | /app/reports/ | Choose report type and open existing reports |
| Clients | /app/clients/ | Customer master data |
| Installations | /app/installations/ | Sites and fire systems |
| Calendar | /app/calendar/ | Technician schedule |
| Settings | /app/settings/ | Company preferences and report defaults (admin) |
Report Workflow
Unlike the ERP, where reports often flow through work orders, the SaaS App lets technicians create reports directly — pick a type, link an installation, fill the form, sign, and deliver.
Open Reports
From the launcher, tap Reports and choose the report type: Inspection, Fire Pump, Simple Pumping, or Fire Door.
Select installation
Search and pick the client site. For pump reports, select the pump group; for fire doors, select the fire system.
Fill the form
Complete measurements, observations, photos, and compliance fields. Drafts auto-save so you can resume later from the installation page.
Sign and complete
Collect technician and client signatures on the Sign-off tab. When PIN signing is enabled, the technician confirms with a personal PIN before the PDF is sealed.
Deliver (optional)
Email the signed PDF to the client directly from the report menu.
Sign-off
Every SCIE report ends with technician and client signatures. The SaaS form includes a dedicated Sign-off tab with signature pads and optional cryptographic sealing.
Technician signature
When Auto-apply technician signature is enabled in Settings → Reports, the form pre-fills the technician signature from the user's saved profile signature.
PIN requirement
When Require PIN to sign reports is enabled, the technician must enter a personal signing PIN before the report is cryptographically sealed. When disabled, a simpler approve flow applies without a cryptographic seal.
Permissions
SaaS access is controlled separately from ERP roles. Each module (Reports, Clients, Installations, Calendar, etc.) has its own permission level per user.
| Level | Typical access |
|---|---|
| Viewer | Read-only lists and report viewing |
| User | Create and edit own records |
| Manager | Broader scope — team records, bulk actions |
| Admin | Full module control including settings |
Reports additionally supports scoped access (own vs all reports) and an extra flag for responsibility term generation where applicable.
